The birth anniversary of the tenth king of Takht Patna Sahib will be celebrated from January 4 to 6.

On the first day of the New Year, more than one lakh devotees had darshan of Guru Maharaj in Takht Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib and enjoyed the langar prasad. The Takht Patna Committee had made complete arrangements for the devotees. Committee President Jagjot Singh Sohi, Senior President Lakhwinder Singh, Secretary Gurwinder Singh, General Secretary Inderjit Singh, Secretary Harbans Singh and the entire committee extended New Year greetings to the devotees. Sardar Jagjot Singh Sohi said that he had already anticipated that a large number of devotees would come to visit Takht Sahib on this occasion and the committee had made all the arrangements in advance, due to which the devotees did not face any kind of difficulty. He said that a large number of devotees are also coming from the country and abroad to celebrate the birth of Guru Maharaj from January 4 to 6, and all the arrangements have been made by the committee for them as well. Arrangements for accommodation, langar, medical, and travel etc. of the devotees have been made by the committee.
