Donald Trump Appoints Truth Social Media CEO Devin Nunes as Chairman of the Intelligence Board

President-elect Donald Trump has named former Rep. Devin Nunes, the CEO of Trump’s Truth Social Media, as chairman of the president’s intelligence advisory board. Trump announced the appointment in a statement on Truth Social Media. “Nunes, who chaired the House Intelligence Committee during my first term, will continue to serve as chairman of the advisory board and CEO of Truth Social,” he wrote. As chairman of the intelligence committee, Nunes had strongly defended Trump on the issue of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and alleged that the FBI conspired to implicate Trump. Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016.
