Man sentenced to 130 years in prison for murder of 2 teenage girls in Indiana, US
A court in the small town of Delphi, Indiana, has sentenced a suspect to 130 years in prison for the 2017 murders of two teenage girls. Richard M. Allen, 52, was convicted on November 11 of the murders of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14. Allen County Superior Court Judge Fran Gul sentenced him to 65 years in prison for each murder, to be served consecutively. The sentencing hearing lasted less than two hours. Reacting to the judge’s decision, Allen’s lawyers said they would appeal the decision and seek a new trial.
