Baba Mehraj and others detained even before protest over Budha Nallah issue

Factories and industries have been dumping chemicals into the rivers of Punjab for a long time, due to which the water of Punjab is continuously becoming polluted and people have contracted many dangerous diseases. No government or political party has ever taken a stand on serious issues, but this issue has come up in the discussion among the common people many times. The governments of the time have not stopped working to solve the Budha Nallah problem and the factories and factories are continuously polluting the water by pouring dirty chemicals from their industries. But now, for a long time, Lakhveer Singh Singh Lakha Sadhana and other organizations had jointly organized a big gathering in Ludhiana on December 3 to block the Budha Nallah. The prominent leaders of Dal Khalsa and many other organizations were to attend. But before this, the police arrested the leaders of many social organizations and placed senior Dal Khalsa leader Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj under house arrest and a large number of police personnel surrounded his house.

In the case of detention of Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj, Dal Khalsa leaders Bhai Gurwinder Singh Bathinda, Baljinder Singh Kotbhara, Bhai Ram Singh, Jeevan Singh Gill Kalan, Sikh leader Surinder Singh Nathana, Granthi Sabha representatives Bhai Bhagwan Singh, Jeet Singh, Teja, Baba Balwinder Singh Nihang, Harpinder Singh leaders strongly condemned the Jhaaru government. They said that the current Jhaaru government is dumping dirty water in the rivers by taking huge funds from the factories and factories. They said that the money from this dirty water is polluting the holy water of Sutlej, people are getting terrible diseases, for which the government is directly responsible. They said that no one should pollute the natural resources of any state, it is the responsibility of the government, but from time to time the governments have slapped the backs of these factories and factories and filled their houses by taking huge funds from them.
