Growing distance between India and Canada is a matter of concern: Advocate Dhami
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed concern over the growing distance between India and Canada and said that the two countries should adopt a sincere approach to solve the matter. He said that a large number of Indians and especially Punjabis live in Canada, who are naturally affected by the deteriorating relations between the two countries. The Shiromani Committee president said that in the case of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijhar’s murder in the past, a decisive approach should not be taken against each other.
Advocate Dhami said that there should be no politics on this serious issue. He appealed to the Government of India to conduct an impartial investigation on this, so that the situation can be clarified.
