National Justice Front convoy stopped in Mohali
The National Justice Front Mohali-Chandigarh, Hawara Committee and Panthak Committee and other Sikh organizations on the common border of Mohali-Chandigarh started on January 7 last year on the issues of release of Bandi Singhs, 328 forms, incidents of blasphemy and Behbal Kalan shootings. The series of sit-ins (Pakka Morcha) continues. Recently, a large number of people marched from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib for the release of the captive Singhs and tried to march towards Chandigarh, but the Mohali police stopped the Sikh caravan from moving forward by barricading near YPS Chowk. On behalf of the Punjab government, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal assured to fulfill the demands of the National Justice Front by reaching the spot.
He said that efforts will be made to secure the release of Bhai Shamsher Singh and Bhai Gurmeet Singh, who are now on conditional bail. Similarly soon Bhai Paramjit Singh Bhiora will be given parole (leave) and Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara will send a positive report regarding the Supreme Court’s notice. According to this, the Jathedar will not have any objection to be sent from Delhi’s Tihar Jail to any jail in Punjab.
On this occasion, the convener of the National Justice Front, Bhai Pal Singh France, gave a month’s ultimatum to the Punjab government and said that if their demands are not met during this time, a big action will be taken soon. In the Bandi Singh release march, Bhai Shamsher Singh and Bhai Gurmeet Singh along with various sect leaders Bapu Tarsem Singh, Bhai Balwinder Singh, Bhai Resham Singh Wadali, Bhai Jaswinder Singh Rajpura, Revolutionary Farmers Union leader Darshan Pal, Bhai Inderveer Singh, Vakil Gursharan Singh Dhaliwal, Bapu Gurcharan Singh, Bhai Karnail Singh Panjoli etc. were present.
