A student of CT University committed suicide

A student of CT University, Ludhiana committed suicide in the university complex on Monday.

Kirandeep Kaur, daughter of Surjit Singh, a resident of village Chak Kanyan, district Moga, jumped from a building inside the complex near village Chowki Maan in Jagraon.

He was taken to hospital where he died.

Kirandeep was a Bachelor of Arts student and was reportedly depressed due to some unknown reasons. It is being told that he was undergoing treatment at DMC Ludhiana.

Police and family members were informed. The police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. An investigation is underway.
