3 boys injured, 1 in critical condition in shooting during attempted robbery in Houston

A 25-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in Houston by a group of youths. The man reportedly shot and wounded three others with his revolver in self-defense. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Major Saul Suarez said in a press release that the robbery occurred just after midnight.

When officers arrived on scene, they found three boys, ages 12 to 14, injured and taken to a nearby hospital. One boy is in critical condition, while the other two are in stable condition, police said. Police say a boy was involved in the robbery attempt. The shooter has been arrested. It is not yet clear whether charges will be filed against the suspect.
